[Technology] Audiobook-only media player for child's bedtime

I briefly had success setting up the generally useless Alexa in kids mode for this so I could have it on timer or turn it off from my phone. Then it decided not to be able to access audible when in kids mode and banjoed it. I'm afraid I have devoted more time to this reply then finding a...

    [Albion] Shoutout to Adam Webster

Fair enough. Can we agree he improved over the run of games though?

    [Albion] Shoutout to Adam Webster

Ahhhh Webdini, when he gets a run of games and his mojo rises he's a delightful player. The problem tends to be that he's not fit for that many games in a row, so you get a run that goes: dodgy, somewhat dodgy, a bit dodgy, kind of decent, decent, possibly good, good, oh hello Webdini, injured.

[Albion] Anyone else have the sinking feeling that this is Gross’s last game for us too?

Both off to Bayern where Groß will provide Kane with a record 11ty billion assists.

[Albion] Roberto De Zerbi To Leave Albion After Tomorrow's Game

Thanks for the memories. Now off you f***. Scassacazzo.

[Football] So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye

Are we f***. Moyes will be getting another job soon enough, possibly even before Wet Sham ask him back again. Hayes is somehow going to crop up in punditry all over the shop.* Jürgen will be a VERY special guest less frequently but for higher profile occasions. *Yes I know she probably knows...

[Football] Championship play off final pole

Voted Leeds just so that Portsmouth Southampton can renew their rivalry. And maybe pick up a whole bunch of fines and have to play without fans. Anything detrimental to them really.

[Football] So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye

I was really hoping this was going to be someone pulling an epic flounce and letting us all know they were leaving NSC or forsaking BHA.

    [Drinking] Iiiiiiiit’s Fridat!

Nothing really in the house. I don't tend to drink at home. But as I really felt like one this evening I've just had a very stiff vodka (only alcohol in house) and multivitamin juice (only possible mixer, from kids carton) with two large frozen strawberries because I had no ice. Rather nice.

    [Albion] Chelsea in home end

Twas a very high pitched lady in w1I that gave them all away. I heard high pitched screaching in support of Chelsea and thought some twat had bought their Chelsea loving spawn along but no it was some bint who'd managed to live her life thus far with incredibly limited knowledge of how football...

[Football] Best game I've ever seen at tha Amex.

It's also my favourite because I eventually got £200 compo from some of the chels who tried to hit me. Not being much of a betting man it's easily the most profitable game I've been to.

[Albion] Getting The Match Date Wrong...

Early in the AMEX era I definitely set off for a game 48 hours early. Was very close to the station before I got suspicious. I also got a friend's wedding day wrong which I discovered almost exactly two hours before the wedding which was over two hours away. Pre sat nav and I had to invent my...

    [Albion] Carl Rushworth

Well I see Steele to Arsenal making sense to them. Plays the way they want, doesn't make waves, good around the place. As I believe CH said when giving Casper another year "third goalkeeper is in it's own way a very specialist position". 70% Bart 30% Carl next season might not be ideal but...

[Football] Football rumour - Erik ten Hag will be sacked at end of season

The dream team is Sean Dyche AND Graham Potter. Dyche clears out the dead wood and scares them. Potter comforts them and builds them up. Potter teaches them to build from the back. Dyche tells them when they need to lump it. Potter sets them up for pretty football without any goals, Dyche makes...

    [News] Hamas/Gaza/Israel

I see this interpretation quite a lot. I don't see how other Arab nations not wanting a western backed army on their doorstep detracts from 10,000 unarmed civilians being "disappeared" by Israel. It's a massive war crime that doesn't merit "diddums". The idea that 1967 was a defensive war...
