There is no club in the country which has a clearer, more consistent model, that’s been in place for over a decade. Any manager that comes here and expects anything different is stupid (or perhaps a remarkable optimist). Many, many managers would love to work in such a system.

Yes - I've read it. It's clear he's leaving. But the precise point that the contract is terminated isn't clear. But who knows what the deal is - perhaps TB and PB are either (a) glad to be shot of him, or (b) happy to give up on compensation to expedite things and/or effectively say "Thank You"...

It hasn't been terminated YET (wording is rather vague "after the Manchester Utd match"). The club statement also says "We have mutually agreed to end Roberto’s contract at a time that suits both parties..." It doesn't actually say that the contract is terminated now (or tomorrow)...or infact...

Presumably compo deal tentatively agreed. Sort of explains things.
