I thought it was bloody funny personally.

[Misc] Any sports physio's on here? Please?

Just got home. Suspected grade 3 tear of the medial gastrocnemius. Been given a pair of crutches and some cocodamol and sent on my way but if I start to get any extra discomfort in it or any numbness in my foot then I have to get myself to a&e. Going to make work tough as I average 17,000...

[Misc] Any sports physio's on here? Please?

Woke up this morning hoping it would just be tight but it still feels like a red hot poker is stuck in it after several icing sessions last night. Been up at Lewes since 8am. Seen the triage nurse and still waiting to be seen by a doctor. Think I've come to the wrong place. Thought it was like...

    GOUT!

I am a gout sufferer too. Usually in my left ankle, when I have an attack it is severely acute and lays me up for 3-4 days. So much as even thinking about even twitching my little toe would worry me and the thought of needing a piss and trying to get to the toilet would make me cry. Literally...

[Misc] Any sports physio's on here? Please?

I can't tonight now. Drank too much and Mrs Spongy can't drive as we have a young'un who has miraculously fallen asleep on request and there's no way I'm going to risk waking her now otherwise literally everyone's night is going to be ruined. Honestly, Thankyou for the advice. I have to be up...

If nothing feels better in the morning I'll get myself to the Lewes one. It's nearest. Don't want to clog up a&e with a pulled muscle. Much more serious things need their attention.

It's not my Achilles. The pain is from the top of my calf where it joins below the knee and stops at the top of my Achilles, feels like the muscle on the inside of you understand what I mean. The whole thing is rock solid when normally it's just squidgy when relaxed. Doctor said I'm not...

[Misc] Any sports physio's on here? Please?

Hi all I've really hurt my calf. Has anyone done this before? I mean badly? I was at work today and hurt myself lifting something at a funny angle and was using my leg as leverage and it literally went "pop". My colleague who was about 3m away heard it and turned around to see me grimacing...

[TV] Anyone got any tips for a new smart T.V.?

We bought a HiSense 4k smart TV a few months ago for the bedroom. I think it beats our much more expensive Sony Bravia in the living room and the remote is better. Apart from Samsung, ALL 4k screens are made by LG, it's just the housings and internal bits that differ between manufacturers.

    [Technology] VR headsets

Excellent. I will definitely have a look at that! And provide "constructive criticism" if needed🤣. The wife has left me at home and taken the kids to her parents and staying over for the day so I'm watching the game in peace and quiet but they've taken the Quest to theirs so will have to wait...

    [Technology] VR headsets

Hi all I bought one yesterday, (well, for the kids as Mrs Spongy believes). A Metaquest 2...... Never been on any kind of VR before and must say I really enjoyed it but I think it gave me motion sickness as I felt weird when I took it off, either the headset or the several ciders I'd drank...

    [Help] Gardeners Question Time.

POSSIBLY. How big are mini diggers? I have no idea! It's a bit of a wiggle round the back of the flat behind some garages. But it's a tad wider than a normal path down the side of the house scenario. But there is a back gate with wider access just out of shot on the left that leads straight into...

    [Help] Gardeners Question Time.

Does anyone one have any suggestions on how I can make this a usable space? We moved in a couple of years ago and have been concentrating solely on the inside. This is our bit of neglected space out the back of our 1st floor flat. It's south facing so has good light and is rather warm out...

[Albion] If We somehow win and get through?

No need unfortunately. She was buzzing for the first half and cheering us on throughout. Half time killed her buzz. The fact we sit in SWC and the second half everything was happening at the other end and a bit far away she was falling asleep against me at 70 minutes. Bad fan but we left on...
