What are you disappointed at? That people don't want to pay £50+ for a match that is effectively a dead rubber on a random Wednesday night in May? I upgraded one of my kids season tickets so that I could bring a friend along tomorrow and couldn't believe that a full price adult ticket where I sit is £60. As a season ticket holder we're immune to the fluctuation in pricing dependent on match classification. £60 is a lot of money for the casual fan to fork out on a whim..

We missed the Everton
and Southampton games in May, because we were *checks notes* on an overseas holiday. We only just made the United game - getting home after midnight, then setting off on our travels first thing the next morning.People surely plan such trips well in advance of knowing what will be riding on the end of season games. Its just that last year the games sold out quicker, so the exchange opened quicker, and because of the good form - the tickets all resold.
Plus if you want to take a junior have to pay adult price

That's not so much disappointing as head-mental. Who are those nutters? Why would you not give yourself a sporting chance of getting a decent amount of your ticket price back by simply listing your ticket on the exchange? Some real oddballs out there in the Albion community
We are (STH’s)on holiday this week, which was booked b4 Christmas specifically on a week with no mid-week game. I understand fixtures change especially at this time of year but my points below are:-
1) Why do BHA keep trying to sell tickets for poor view seating in the corners that no one wants at the prices asked, and then Sell-out and open ticket exchange a day b4 the fixture when there are so many good seat available but it’s too late for people to arrange to go.
2) BHA persist with Adult prices for children on the exchange. If there was a tick box when listing seat on exchange that said u could give your seat to a child if accompanied by an adult buying a ticket, it would give kids a chance to see games instead of the seat being empty on the TV which is not a good look.
3) This would be something for FAB to propose to the club, but I won’t hold my breath.

As I said it’s ST holders having a moan at non ST holders refusing to shell out a fortune for a nothing mid week game. If the boot was on the other foot it would be a different story.

Junior won’t be going as it’s a school night
I thought about listing it but for £4 return after the admin fee it’s not worth the risk of having to listen to a proper chels talk bollocks for the evening.
I had thought about bringing one of a few casual fans I know but none were interested in paying £40 on top of my son’s ST cost to come. I don’t blame em, anyway somewhere to hang my coat

I know someone who has a season ticket and rarely goes. What's the point? Just remove the reimbursement to fans putting there tickets in the exchange. I bet they won't miss games then. Obviously allow for a few a season for genuine reasons.

The non ST holders didn't in fact refuse to shell out a fortune - thousands of them in fact - as the non ST tickets all sold out.

Most of them live nowhere near Europe if you check out the names and profiles. To be honest we bore the brunt of it when we signed Percy Tau, the African pele, and his “ fans”.
it’s mainly the African fans on twatter who want us “ punished” for daring to ask fees for our players even citing modern slavery laws.
they are either entitled wankers or thugs.

Good point… a guy I know was wanting two tickets together for tonight ( he has a ST next season) but took one look at the £60 a ticket and decided it wasn’t worth it

Only thing I can think of is a fixture change but you couldn’t enforce that given when the fixtures come out we’re playing 3pm on a Saturday for every game.
Surely the ticket exchange is there for that reason. The club has made its money by selling the ticket. Re-selling it they are profiting again. If it doesn’t sell they aren’t out of pocket the person you know is.
Quite frankly what does it matter? As someone mentioned earlier in the thread I can’t get my head around why people get upset by empty seats. Happens at every ground for nothing games.
Usually don’t bother putting my kids tickets on the exchange if they can’t go as would only get about £5 each for them and might end up with weirdos sitting next to me.
