Cheers, just seems harsh that anyone, footballer or not, could have their name splashed all over the paper based someone else's story, which could turn out to be completely false. Ruin's their reputation, social life, career possibly - even if proven innocent.

Oakford is opposite the station - not been in there on a match day but is usually a grungy / arty place, can't imagine its a football pub. May be wrong though

P.S. Reading fans are probably the worst I have ever seen in terms of noise / banter etc - if you want noise (and I'm sure you do) we'll have to make it all ourselves !

Three Guineas is next to the station and the bus stop you need to get to the game is opposite. It's a sports pub and is normally filled with away fans when Reading play at home. Probably the best bet.
