[Albion] Are you enthused about who we might get in

Or a Tom & Jerry style run over the horizon to somewhere quiet and then have a benny?

Yep risking Potter Mk II I think.

    [Albion] The table…

Yeah. Enjoy bloody agent Solanke’s miss on MOTD, the idiot ;) Palace went above us too. Tbf i didn’t expect us to be that close to you in the end, so not too bad. Encouraging performance today too. On Palace, I think i was Fergie was gushing on their potential talent pool in conversation...

Remember Charlie Austin was playing for Poole in the Wessex league (Step 9 I think) when he went to League 1 and started scoring for Swindon. I'm sure this lad could do a job in League 2 at least.

Northampton just pips it apparently. Just looked online.

Often mentioned in the biggest places without a league team. Southend, Slough, & Warrington also.

Yes loads of fun looking through population lists online ;) Quite a few decent sized places don’t have a pro or league team.

Really good game that was. Looks like they’re on an upward trajectory so they’ll get promoted eventually. I think Slough then Poole must be the biggest towns without a pro team tho. Both pretty bad for the size of town, Poole especially.

[Albion] Note to Self: Do not look at Wikipedia

Poole v Weymouth is well known as 'El Jurassico'

    [Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

So fancy new main stand - Surely they'll look at the stand opposite after?

Yep. Best place. Was there with Bmth. Locals friendly, good beer.

Agree. To me Saints are just another team to beat - we aren't rivals but they do care more than they let on. The Forest one is interesting, definitely a fair wedge hate Leicester more than Derby - one of four Forest fans I know do anyway.

    [Football] Pompey

Its been rumbling along and surfaces now and again, mainly with the older lot. They are so bloody patronising tbh, lots of them call us 'Bompey'. For me, with the new training ground etc, it's making sure they aren't poaching any local talent like they used to. Pushing them back to the SO...

    [Football] Pompey

Perhaps it's the other way round more then. I spoke to a Charlton fan who spent some time in Belmarsh for punching a Palace fan for no reason. Unfortunately for him a copper saw him and rugby tackled him... Agreed I would thought Palace wouldn't bother with Millwall because of their West Ham...

Haha. Cheers. Oh I don't want a rival, it's probably better not to have one tbh. London clubs always moan that it hinders them with all their derbies. Oh well, Yeovil may get a billionaire backer and rise again, but Weymouth have claimed them. We'll always be derby-less....

Thanks for the noddy, makes a change from tinpot ;) Right about Reading, that was early 00’s mainly. When they were singing about never playing us again. Be careful about things biting you on the arse eh! Gillingham too now and again. But only when we were battling with them in league 1. Quite...

    [Football] Pompey

Probably. But we get that from Saints fans usually, I think it’s an age thing. I have some family that support them so never really disliked them that much. Most of us are happy not having a proper rival.

    [Football] Pompey

Always a little tentative posting on here as an AFCB fan - not much love for us (not that I expected much LOL)... But rivalry wise - ideally if the Bmth area was geographically where Eastbourne or Newhaven is, that would have been a great rivalry with Brighton. Then Palace would have their...
