This what I'll listening to loudly in the airport pub at 7am on Thursday morning:
Then this will get an airing with the appropriate Albion based lyrics:
Who would you give it to if it was awarded right now?
RDZ - sustained great football, Europa league qualification to the knockouts, still in the hunt for top 6, FAC and EL
Gary O'Neill - remember that Wolves were many people's choice for relegation this season. Instead they're just 3 points...
Really should have been a thread for the World Cup final that never was last night, but a story now developing in Rome.
England 17-8 down and deservedly so as Italy have just run in a fabulous try.
With the new smell wearing off, there are a few of these (especially from away fans). Looking at Molineux Mix for example, I read some quite familiar ones:
Noise:
Firstly, their fans think we are quiet and say that it was never like that in the Goldstone days. I'd say there was little...
Who would you say it is? Surely it was Leicester until 2016, but now they've won 2 trophies. How I wish that was us!
Notable entrants:
Albion
Stoke
Watford
Palace
Lots of clubs have won just one - Middlesbrough, Southampton, Wigan.
What a choice - we've never had it so good have we?
But which was YOUR favourite Amex win of the calendar year? I reckon you could make a case for about six of these.
In other news, I really miss Deniz Undav. :(
=2) Leeds. Credit where it's due - always loud and good vocal backing.
=2) AEK. Proper loud support.
1) Marseille. Same as AEK but didn't stop all game.
I seriously doubt their fans support will ever be topped. Incredible support IMO.
So I work in a cabin at the bottom of my garden. It is out of range of my wifi, but I use ethernet/powerline cables to connect to the internet from my two laptops. This all works fine.
However, I also have an electric heater in this cabin. Now ideally I'd like this plugged into a smart plug...
Has any club won a major European trophy having never won a major domestic honour?
Asking for a friend.
Obviously this has nothing to do with us being in Europe because we won the charity shield once. 😆
What I really like about "Sussex by the sea" is that it is very much "our" song. It's very stirring too when it's sung as the whole ground sings it.
But what songs at other clubs do you like? Obviously "Glad all over" is absolute gash. To be honest it's so embarrassing that I really don't...
Why are they so poor?
I mean I get that they're not part of a season ticket but you'd think clubs would do more to fill up their grounds. Salford are a league club so a crowd of 1030 is unacceptable in this day and age IMO. Derby County were only playing Crewe but they average 24,000 or so in...
It's really interesting that RDZ has used squad rotation so thoroughly. Quite often managers in the past have paid lip service to this, but that's clearly not the case here. I reckon it has cost us points this season (Webster is a good example of someone who needs 3 or 4 games before playing...
Which guarantee would you prefer?
I reckon this is a toughie. A win at Ajax would put us in a commanding position to continue our European tour, but two straight league wins is likely to put us back in the conversation for a top 5 place and certainly firmly back in the race for European places.
Looks already like it'll be 3 from the promoted sides + Bournemouth. Who do you think is going? I wonder if any teams above these 4 will be sucked in? Wolves, Everton, Fulham or Forest?
Luton staying up would be impressive from them. I dislike Luton (and their crap ground) but can't help...
I've got over my melancholy at not having a ticket and am now almost fully on board.
Apparently there is going to be a fan zone laid on for ticketless Albion fans, so if it looks like there are lots going, it sounds like a right craic.
So if you're going without a ticket, how are you getting...
Sheffield Wednesday or Reading?
Both look awful in their respective divisions and are victims of truly shit ownership.
I mean I've been all for laughing at them both as they plunge lower and lower, but at some point it's the proper long suffering fans who suffer more than anyone else isn't it...
No, this isn't request to the simpletons who write "could of".
More a wander down memory lane. What was your favourite tale? I can only remember Boy from Space and Skyhunter personally. Both good, but Boy from Space shat me right up as a kid. Frankly it still does:
