[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

Oh dear. Can you see how replacing your normal witless one liners with a post that is almost Shakespearian in it's length quoting what Starmer said nearly 40 years ago, could be interpreted as a little .... well .... desperate ? Not by me, obviously

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

Well that was exactly what the French Government suggested and this Conservative Government turned them down  But you can prove anything by using facts

    [Brighton] Potholes

Interesting interpretation ??? A £6 million budget to fill potholes and repair roads was underspent, a report to Brighton & Hove City councillors said. Nigel Manvell, the city council's chief financial officer, said the money came in the form of a "capital grant" from the Department for...

[Albion] Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

The majority was Plan B. There was a bit of pop, pop, popping around our midfield in the first half  I can't remember who, but one of the managers in the first half of the season said "you can't press Brighton, because the play pop, pop, pop and they're round you and creating chances". I...

I said at the beginning of the season that getting out of the Europa Group and a top 10 finish would be a brilliant season for us. And that was long before it became apparent that we had Dr De'ath as our physio

Very solid professional performance against a very good team, shutting it down when we needed to, almost as if our manager is young and learning more each season. And there was a bit of pop, pop, popping around the midfield 1st half, and you know we can get back to that with a full squad

I have to pick up an old mate over from Aus at M40 Beaconsfield Services on Sunday. So do you reckon Guilford/Bracknell/Maidenhead should avoid the worst of it or should I go west via Petersfield/Basingstoke/Reading to be sure ? (I'm in a normal car, not the mid life crisis, so the A272 to...
