Same, I spose I’m just saying it’s fine margins.
Not far fetched to assume Kudus agents fold on a release clause, City decide they would prefer not to sell to Chelsea or Albion agree to a Palmer buy back clause etc
Last Summer we were seriously in for both Cole Palmer and Kudus, I don't blame the club for not getting them across the line as they would have broken the model, but just assume one or both of them had come in and had similar seasons?
Felt like we were seriously in for both, so which do you think would have worked out best?
And any others we were in for recently that slipped away that you're gutted about?
This is an interesting thought as lots of us myself included have the position that had MC stayed we'd have been much stronger this season and we still could have sold him down the line for a similar sort of sum. If he'd stayed and gone through a awful patch we'd not have got the same deal would we?
it's def a deliberate strategy isn't it? I think the idea might be that generally younger keepers are undervalued and there'd be plenty of opportunity to turn a profit on them?
Thinking more in the Gyökeres / østigård approach then the Caicedo way
Interesting article on the athletic in the context of Barco choosing BHAFC over city and players hanging round longer at the Amex
