100% agree.
No one has a clue. There is no fundamental reason to invest in this at all, it’s momentum and technicals. You may get lucky but without a solid macroeconomic reason, it’s more luck than judgement.

As someone who works in the Front Office in the financial markets I've resisted commenting on this thread for a long time, But that is absolute nonsense.
Apple, Amazon and Tesla trade on fundamentals, you may not agree with them but they have valuations derived from a fundamental opinion...

Traders and investors do exactly the same thing. Both mark to market and take a view based on time horizons. Some may hedge themselves synthetically if there is liquidity to do so but fundamentals of investing are exactly the same whatever you buy or sell. It either goes up or it goes...
If you bought before the beginning of this year I would hope you are. It would take quite a lot of skill not to be.
But looking at the GPW chart on my Bloomberg screen its all looking a bit different now.

As someone who has worked in the financial markets for 30 years, it amuses me too. You can argue about technicals all you like but the drivers of this market are so flimsy and the vol so high its like betting on the 330 at Kempton.....
