We might stay up. We might not. Signing a good striker would unquestionably improve our chances of staying up, but it won't guarantee it. Any more than not signing one will guarantee that we go down. It's not rocket science, but the simple fact is, there are no guarantees!

If we do sign a decent striker, we might still go down. Nothing is decided yet, and won't be for a while. There is a possibility we'll go down, some may argue there's a probability we'll go down (a bit pessimistic, but fair enough if that's what they think), but there is no absolute certainty...
