Some contractors have been known to spot impossibilities in the spec, e.g. dimensions that do not add up, and cut the quote to the bone, knowing there will be a bonanza in variation orders.
I hoped we would sign Eze from QPR, but I thought your club paid too much for him to get the deal done. You would know better, but I don't think he matched expectations in his first season, and then the achiles injury start of last season meant he didn't get on the pitch much, so I am glad for...
Following in Zaha's footsteps, flops at Man Utd, returns to Palace, all he will have to do next is whinge about not being allowed to move every other summer.
Zaha finally looking the player you lot have always thought he was though, looks like Viera is getting the best from him consistently. I...
Maybe that's what I have in mind? Would have been Charlton in 87, Dons were still at Plough Lane till the 90's. I also went to a Palace v Newcastle game and stood with Geordies around that time in that end
The Holmesdale Pathetics will like that press release, "Crystal Palace are changing their crest to celebrate the club’s 1861 origins and its historic role in the development of modern football."

Surely the presser should say...
For 5 minutes after they scored, yes, but for most of the first half we looked comfortable, and we came out after the break on the front foot, till the Pen.
They only looked dominant after the Pen, when we were chasing the game, and they had all the players with pace exploiting the gaps we were leaving. The Pen came early enough for that to be a significant portion of the match though.
Football stadiums should feel a bit lived in, should have memories and ghosts attached to them. The Amex is gaining that, but it didn't feel like ours to me for the first season, it does very much now and if I was given the choice of what we have now or we could have the Goldstone, I would keep...
A fair chunk of the squad Roy had has walked out to pastures new hasn't it? Maybe they are struggling because PVA was the glue that held it all together?
Inflamed things between Man Utd and Palace, but we have always hated them.
For Palace fans, they may be reminded of the death of one of their supporters when we chant Cantona, but no Brighton fan is thinking of that. However, given some of the shit that Man Utd fans chant and have chanted at...
Hoping it's relegation battle excitement you experience. Finishing 17th can feel fantastic if you have been in the bottom 3 all season, and personally, I don't want Palace to go down, not unless we do too, because I like the little bit extra that comes with a game against your lot.
They will do what they have done often I reckon, appear to be nailed on for relegation for much of the season, then sack the manager and get some unlikely points off teams that should be hammering them, and end up looking fairly comfortable.
