Whether a coach is flexible is surely a matter of comparison to their contemporaries? I'd suggest pretty much all managers stick to an ethos / approach, and flexibility is merely levels of variation of that. I'd still argue he is on the more flexible side of things than not in comparison to most...
Yeah, as I said to someone else, stating 'I won't be responsible for my actions' to me is digging someone out.
Agree with the rest, but also once theyve been selected and pull the shirt on, they should get unequivocal backing, not toys out of the pram.
You've got to chuckle...
We've scored 1 goal in 4 matches, we need to score 4 in 90mins to not go out of the competition...
and NSC is discussing which keeper gives us the best chance of winning.:lolol:
Or, as summised above, Bart is being protected and Steele is facing the trickier fixtures.
My suspicion would be he plays Bart tomorrow, a bit of a free hit now and a home game, and Steele has Anfield.
I’d like to see a list of the games, my interpretation is that RDZ has largely been protecting Bart as the younger keeper, even in that list above, Steele’s have all been away, and in the big ones or ones we’ve been resting players / absences.
Plus a lot of these results can’t be just put on...
Bart:
Forest H
Everton H
Sheff Utd A
Palace H
Sheff Utd A
Steele:
Roma A
Fulham A
Wolves A
Spurs A
Luton A
I'd be shocked if Bart's form wasn't better than Steele's given the games they have played.
You're in your own little NSC echo chamber if that is the case. Believe what you like, I don't mind Steele being on the teamsheet especially in a game where build-up and accurate passing from our keeper is going to be crucial.
Someone saying 'they're not sure what they will do' if a player is picked is digging them out.
Wanting a preferred starting XI, or having an opinion on selection is very different.
Agree. Digging players out, especially model pros that work hard, stay loyal etc. I mean sometimes they're not the best choice, but take the likes the Billy, who has bided his time patiently, even if those players come up short sometimes, they are worth their weight in gold to this football...
