Which is fair enough, but some people need/want both
I'm fortunate enough to be able to get public transport to work for a decent fee each month and it's quite enjoyable to listen to music / read on the journey, however, if that went up to the same cost or the at the same rate of price...
It all adds up and quickly, hopefully you are correct, just can't see it myself.
It's still lower than pre pandemic by the looks of it, it's £15 to Brighton from the nearest station to me if I was to book now, I can't see that as great value v driving, even less so if there is a couple of us...
Trains need to be nationalised (among other services) but I don't believe there will be no fare increases to fund All the above.
Fares also need to be cut if they want to get people back onto trains
I've briefly read about the reopening of the case
It seems the police didn't even speak to the neighbours about it, surely that's a pretty basic line to investigate?
There was always going to be come back to this, you would think they would do everything before shutting it in the first place.
No, nor should it if SKS deals with it properly IF she is found guilty.
But I'd quite like all MPs to be held to the same standard, if she's done wrong she should go, Labour have (and rightfully so )called for Tory MPs to go for being found guilty of numerous (I've lost count of how many) same...
Labour should be welcoming this investigation into Rayner, gives them a chance to show the public why they can be trusted over the Tories.
1. She is innocent - they worked with the investigation fully and openly
2. She is guilty - gives SKS a change to show strong leadership.
It is part of the reason, Labours vote plummeted in one of the seats, so they stayed at home as well.
Its a mixture of staying at home/reform taking votes/people want change.
He admitted reading it down after going down a rabbit hole on you tube, he still repeated it in a room of people, the fact he didn't come up with it doesn't mean it's ok.
I'm sorry, but just because he didn't come up with it himself, doesn't give him a pass, nor does it mean he shouldn't be...
Depends what that single comment is
What Ali said
Ali had, after all, told Labour members that Israel “deliberately took the security off” to knowingly allow the 7 October attack to happen to “give them the green light to do whatever they bloody want”
With no proof, Meets the high bar for him...
I agree on the second suspension, but the first should have been kicked out the day it came out.
Hopefully it's a learning curve for him and will will act as he did for Jones, the way Guido Fawks is approaching this makes me think there is more to come.
Of course the comments don't match what the Tories have done, but a Witch Hunt?
The guys suspended are scumbags, I'd quite like the Tories out, I'd also like Labour to kick these nobs out the party and people with those views nowhere near parliament.
Easier said than done, I very much doubt he would.
Labour MPs have a already taken a step back on criticising him.
If he won the US election, SKS would treat him as he would any US leader.

These idiots are Undoing the good work SKS has done in rooting out the some of the scum bags in his party
20 pts is more than enough to get in and get back into some Union.
I'm sure if the EU let us join exiting would be made almost impossible, so wouldn't really matter what the Tories wanted
