Is this just a way of removing one of our 19 year olds from the other story?
If it were Aldi I'd have said:-
Wheelbarrow wheel -uniinflated.
Bread
Welding mask.
I might be wrong but I think the ref wised up to him.
He got a couple of early decisions but then nothing.
On at least 2 occasions he was on the floor in dire need of medical attention, only to then pick himself up and run off.
Were he playing for palace or Villa we'd be rinsing him right now...
The bigger problem is the expectation that their progress will be upwardly linear.
It absolutely won't be, but that won't stop the detractors moaning when a couple of 'easy' chances/tackles are missed.
You're not supposed to see 'it' now.
All you should be hoping to see is minor improvements, which in themselves won't be linear.
Today I felt he was a lot more mobile, was aggressive, and attempted some moves that would have felt good when they came off.
That'll do.
Exactly.
Show me the post under this lad wearing Argentina #10 shirt saying, 'he shouldn't go, he'll get a serious injury', then fair enough.
But without that everything is just aftertiming.
So was the Olympics for Jocko, but the club allowed him to play.
3 years later he's winning the world cup and still committed to t'Albion.
It's the little things.
