Felt slightly sorry for him. First half he did OK and did his best to get forward, second half didn't play well at all and struggled defensively. I'd be very surprised if Gus is looking to keep him for next season.

didn't want the ball, did you see some of the runs down the right in the 2nd half when he was being found and also when play was switched.

Your usual considered opinion i see.

Thought he was ok, notable that the goal we conceded came from the opposite flank. What i did notice was that he lacks the ability to spot the quick pass. Several times in the first half he dwelt on the ball when there was an obvious opportunity for the ball to be moved quickly to a forward player in space.
