Could Massive be our new USG, now that our connection with the latter is not so close?
Bloom is still de-facto owner of USG and the recruitment is run on similar intelligence and principles to ours. Conversely, the owner of Massive is - and let’s be fair on him - a f***ing idiot who should be nowhere near football club ownership.

TB had to get rid of most of his shares (OK, maybe he did an Ernie Marples with them, but still not a major shareholder any more). We still can't do any business with USG, and we cannot plonk our youngsters there to toughen up/wait to qualify for work permits or whatever - so our bond with USG is much reduced from previous years.
Regardless of how its owner runs it, or whether it uses 'similar intelligence' (lots of clubs are trying to do similar) or not, if Sheffield Wednesday start using (and playing) two or three of our youngsters on loan, they will feel much more like the sort of 'feeder club' arrangement we had with USG. Crappy owner? Irrelevant. Lots of clubs have those.

Isn’t Blackburn now our “development” team ?
Shame they have turned from championship play off contenders to a team struggling against relegation - I’m guessing the change in manager and their style of play has put an end to that relationship

They may have been a couple of seasons ago, but now they just take our youngsters on loan, don't play 'em and think they're shit. I think (hope) Moran and Ayari are better than them.
FWIW, I'd guess at (hopefully) better loans for them next season. Maybe a division down, or abroad - but this summer could be make or break for them.

Fully aware that TB had to sell most of his shares, and the transfer restrictions until after this summer. Link between the 2 clubs will still be very strong though given Musio’s relationship with Bloom.

Not player exchange-wise though. And the interest in USG on here has fallen off too,

You hope rather than wonder, methinks. I think not. But the best reference point that we have is the list related to contracts that @chaileyjem has compiled, and has slipped off the radar, and is worth a :bounce:
Some reports appeared around a year ago that Albion do have an option to extend until June 25. No reports - as far as i can see - that they've yet exercised it.

Ed Turns’ Crewe have clawed back a two goal defecit at Doncaster to be level on aggregate 2-2.
Just 5 mins of extra-time remaining before it goes to penalties.
Will the Albion youngster be taking a penalty?
It’s live on SkySports if anyone wants to see the pain of the penalty shoot out.

Must be the first time for a while that there's no Brighton/ex Brighton interest in the old firm game - Sima out injured, and neither Goldson or Balogun in the match day squad for Rangers either.
