If you're going to do the dummy "one player steps over the ball and then the other guy hits it", you need the second guy to hit it straight away. Why did Gomez pause so long? Might as well of not bothered and have an extra man in the box.

Please please PLEASE can we stop blaming the ref in this fixture. Whether it’s today’s or Ron Challis, we are ALWAYS blaming the ref and it’s f***ing tiresome. We could always try scoring goals and defending better to actually WIN for a change.

Oh dear. Still in this bit we have gone utter shit defensively without Webster in the team. Which is quite the statement given the last few seasons he’s had.
Perhaps he will be appreciated more in future. He never seemed entirely happy under De Zerbi, but thrived under Potter.
A real shame his career has been so affected by injury.
