Defeat at Wet Sham and we are back to where we were post-Forest.

The question is, is he adding value to this team?

TB‘s strategy is enhancing player value.

Pedro, Verbruggen, Adingra, Estupinan, MOR, Wieffer, Gruda would’ve all fallen in recent weeks.

Wonder if this will be a factor.

Thank gawd we have JPVH, Rutter and Baleba.

At Cheltenham Bloom has half rubbing his hands at the thought of some champions league money.

injuries aren’t an option as an excuse. We look clueless and have most of the season. I’ve been very complimentary about the way he turned things around after Forest but if our only hope is a semi crocked Webster we are f***ed. We look and play like a pub or school team misty. It’s so naive.

Injuries make a difference but you have to adapt. We can all see how much Dunk is struggling but we continue to play in a way that he is clearly unable to perform. I have never been Fab out but honestly Id not be upset to see him go, we just look chaotic.

I hope he's gone tonight. I can't say I've disliked one of our managers as much as I do FH. Have never warmed to him and don't see an ability there. We were told he was some tactical genius but if it wasn't for the good start to the season we'd be looking over our shoulder more than looking ahead.

My biggest problem is which players can you genuinely say are better now than at the start of the season? What's the plan? What is the f***ing process and he can shove his intensity up his arse!

They absolutely are an excuse.

Kadioglu would be starting, Steele would be available to push Verbruggen and probably start, based on Bart’s current form. Mitoma would’ve started, possibly March (if both fully fit), Veltman would be available and either him or Kadioglu playing, Milner would be available and probably starting, Webster or Igor would be ahead of a very out of form Dunk.

We’re missing up to seven players who feasibly could’ve started.

Hopefully losing to his enemy will be the final straw for Bloom.

We are a naive mess just reliant on individual brilliance. As a team unit, we’re just shit defensively and going forward.

And don’t come back with injuries - Mitoma is the only guaranteed started missing and he’s still on the bench. Ferdi possibly but he’s hardly ever played for us anyway. We’ve got a ridiculously strong squad available.

Hurzeler out.
Watching the game, the contrast of the 2 managers is obvious......

Frank standing on side, waving arms around shouting instructions, going through tactics board with oncoming subs.

Hurzeler passively sitting motionless in his seat.

Last week we oblige a team that havent scored for over 800 hours, who score 2, this week we oblige a team that haven't won at home for 4 months. Its embarrasing (cue happy clappers with tales of Withdean)

The last goal like Leciester 2nd last week, was school boy stuff, simply no defending, a ridicuously easy concession, both goals look like our team lacks defensive coaching, lacks strategy or awareness.

Really though? How long have you supported the Albion, out of interest? Off the top of my head, I much prefer Fab in charge than Dean Wilkins, Jimmy Case, Jeff Wood, Martin Hinshelwood, Sami Hyypia…

I get people are angry right now but the hyperbole is comical.

I’m giving him one more game.

If we play badly against West Ham then it should be patently obvious that he’s not going to get more from this team.

And today we had our first choice CBs, our first choice left back, and he chose to play Wieffer over the current England U21 right back. It’s hardly poverty.
Brentford had the strongest team they’ve had all season out today. They’ve been decimated by injuries to KEY players all season. Yes we’ve had a lot, the most. But you have to play with the hand you’ve been dealt. You do that by organising your team.
By playing to your strengths (or at least avoiding playing to your weakensss a la Dunk). You motivate, rally, inspire. Fab simply isn’t doing those things.

That’s not relative though, this is a multi million £ side full of international players being woefully mismanaged. We started 9 internationals today simply no excuses for the rubbish we are watching.

None of that would help with the shocking school boy defending of 4th goal or the slow ponderous Gus style build up.

The players are getting occasional decent results because Tony has invested in players with quality.... its inspite of Hurzeler imho....

We look like a team coached by a rookie, just as we are.
