Did he ever pull on a Newcastle shirt?
No but they certainly weren’t keen to sell him - the fans were pissed off and he would more than likely have been in the Toon squad this season if it weren’t for PSR spoiling their plans last summer.

So yes, Minteh scoring against the oil toe-rags because of Financial Fair Play in English football is poetic justice.

Huge potential but he shouldn’t be starting every game. Solly has improved us every time he comes on and is surely worth a start.
He’d be starting if he was fully fit, no question. They’re understandably taking his recovery very slowly - one more serious injury and I feel it might be curtains for him and everyone is acutely aware of that. I’m hoping to see him starting next season.

All true. The positive is Solly is looking very, very promising. Him firing for next season would be huge imho.

Sussex but not by the sea
He's young, raw and unreliable.

Just like Baleba, he has the potential to be world class if he can switch his brain on and start using both feet.
Minteh and world class are not in the same sentence, top EPL class maybe, and that for us would be more than ok.
I feel as a fan base we need to stop with this ‘world class’ labelling bollocks. Minteh is miles away from that.

I thought today was as ideal opportunity - even if we were only able to get 55 minutes out of him. Pedro’s Murray-esque languid style doesn’t suit the wing, where you need energy and intensity. Nothing Fab is trying at the moment is coming off

March said himself, post-match on BBC Sussex, that he doesn't have the fitness to start.
