Webster has only one year left on his contract. Unless Albion offer him a new deal, they will sell him, rather than see him leave for nothing at the end of next season. West Ham makes sense as Potter signed him as Albion boss.

Here's the link to the original story. Paywalled, but deal with that in any way you see fit.

It's just a brief mention in an article about various bits of West Ham's possible business this summer:

The club want to sign a centre back, left back, central midfielder and forward, and expect to receive interest in Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen, Emerson, Jean-Clair Todibo and Luis Guilherme.
Todibo’s loan from Nice will be made permanent for £34.2million, as the centre back has triggered a clause in the contract by playing enough matches, but he was linked with Juventus in the past two transfer windows. West Ham have shown interest in Adam Webster, the Brighton & Hove Albion defender who has a year remaining on his contract.

How much do you think we'll get for Webster?

Even with a year left he's unlikely
to command any sort of fee.

Just as likely we'll keep him around for the chance of a couple of his fit to play months

Reckon £10-15 m would be about the right number if he won t sign a contract or we don’t want to offer him one.
