This is just nonsense.

It's subjective as you say, so not necessarily nonsense. Personally I think their music is utterly tedious and hyped far, far beyond the sum of its parts. I'm amazed anyone would get home and think to themselves "Ooh I must put that Arctic Monkeys album on."
