Kane is now looking like Glenn Murray in Hughton’s last season.

Surely time for a new captain and Watkins to start when fit?

England are now a better team when he’s not in the pitch

Make Bellingham captain

Kane should never have started tonight but Southgate was in a damned if I do or dont situation.

Kane is a selfish twat, always has been, I would say you need to be to be a true winner but he’s won f*** all. He played injured in a CL final, did the same in the WC semi, and again in Euro 20 final. It’s me, me, me. I can’t stand the ****.

Always been dog shit for England in meaningful games. Looks like he’s playing Walking Football against 20 year olds.

Should have been binned a long time ago. The fact he’s England’s record goalscorer and won a golden boot for penalties and tap ins against third world nations boils my piss as it’s an insult to the great players who went before him.

Cheating, over rated con.

Why did the hero of many ‘patriotic’ nsc’ers here, Southgate, start him again? When he’s stunk the tournament out.

His hold up play has gone, even Slovakian and Slovenian CB’s owned him in build up play. His long passing game has suddenly disappeared, as he just can’t get to the ball in midfield before any opponent.

Unless Bavarian doctors can work magic, hard to see how he fits in a progressive England XI.

He's not a captain he's not a good team player, he's not a good forward in the true sense, hopefully he ducks off

Kane has had the career most players would dream of. Yet he has never been on a winning football team or made a difference in the matches that really matter, like finals or must win matches.

Kane is far from selfish and one criticism is that he spends too much time defending and dropping deep.

England do need a change though. Unless a new manager can use him properly in a more attacking set up.

The Harry Kane problem is he wears Skechers football boots.

Did anyone else actually know that Skechers make football boots?
Cracking point. My mate told me this tonight and I thought he was taking the piss.

He’s an anachronism in todays game. No other big nation has a guy thundering around and huffing and puffing up front like him.

Bit pathetic to blame Kane. He scored a lot of goals last season in a top League, let's see how many he scores next season....
I imagine he's injured or unfit and unfortunately players won't rule themselves out of massive tournaments and games, they never do. The medical team, monitoring his stats, should advise the manager and the manager should be able to see it themselves. Plus Kane needs a formation that suits him (like at Spurs and Bayern) and this England formation wasn't it. Kane shouldn't be the fallguy imo.
