Charlotte Dujardin, Britain's joint-most decorated female Olympian, has pulled out of Paris 2024 after a video emerged showing her "making an error of judgement"

What was the error of judgement?

???
At a guess, she probably hit a horse whilst training. Just speculation.

I’m more interested in who held onto a video and waited right up to three days before the Olympics starts.

Obviously blindsided her given this piece on the BBC website only 2 days ago

"What happened was completely out of character and does not reflect how I train my horses or coach my pupils, however there is no excuse," she said in statement.

"I am deeply ashamed and should have set a better example in that moment."

Dujardin added her actions were "filmed four years ago" and that she is "devastated to have let everyone down".

BBC Sport has not seen the video in question and it is currently unclear what the nature of the investigation is.

I think we've all got a pretty good idea without needing to see the video.

Bit unfortunate for the BBC who featured her on the national news yesterday.

Maybe she headbutted it and "Dujardin" is actually Geordie?

American rapper Snoop Dogg has been named as one of the final torchbearers of the Olympic flame before Friday's opening ceremony in Paris.

The 52-year-old will carry the torch through the streets of Saint-Denis in the north of Paris, which is home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium, on Friday.

Let's hope he doesn't drop it like it's hot.

Apparently hotels are slashing prices and there are thousands of tickets left if anyone fancies popping over and attending.

Having seen the video i'm a bit surprised that's enough for a furore, especially in comparison to the whipping of horses in racing? As for the timing, yeah obviously someone with a long held grudge serving up their revenge nice and cold...

She followed a horse around a training ring, whipping its legs 24 times...You're more interested in victim shaming someone who witnessed this rather than the animal abuser ? Incredible....BTW, Sir Mark Todd style, it happened 'just the once'...mega bad luck on her someone with an axe to grind was filming it

Still plenty of tickets on the Paris 2024 ticket website. Apparently GB is second in ticket sales to France....

He has had an unbelievably varied career, that man.

Turns up absolutely everywhere;

Possibly the most (Feat.) artist ever in all sorts of Pop/Hip-Hop music
Spongebob Squarepants movie? You betcha.
Advertising JustEat? Yup
His own brand of Wine
His own Cookbook
So much else besides.

Now this.

I got tickets for my youngest and me - going Sunday week. Hotel prices were mental at the time, although we found a reasonable one.

What annoys me more is that metro prices and attractions like the Eiffel tower have doubled their prices. €52 to go up to the viewing platform is insane.

Totally different kind of whip. Horse racing whips are shorter and lighter and there is a limit to the number of times a jockey can hit a racehorse.

What she did was horrible. I doubt her gold medals can be taken away but her CBE certainly can. She has shamed her sport and her country.

It’s the start of the Olympics (kind of)

The Games technically start on Friday with the opening ceremony.

Today is day -2 with football and rugby sevens being played.

I don’t know about the Tower (don’t need to do that again, and it will be pick-pocket central) but there are multi-day downloadable passes that go as far out as the airports and include all public transport - download the Paris 2024 Transport Public app

Always think it's short sighted

Surely more people will do it if cheaper, so roughly the same money will be raised.
