No issue with Lallana at all, snake, nah not me for Clive
Hate? No, agreed. But is it ok to think that the latter is clearly a bit of a bellend?
Not bothered about Lallana, personally.
We did it last season under RDZ as well. In September 2023 we beat Newcastle (h), Man Utd (a) and then Bournemouth (h). We also won all three games by the same scoreline of 3-1, which draws parallels with the run under Hughton as that saw two home wins and one away win all by the same 1-0 score line. So get your money on a 2-1 win tonight. We've only ever won 3 games in a row once in the PL and that was in October 2018 so over 6 years ago. We've had 2 chances this season to do this already this season - away at Arsenal - drew 1-1 after the wins v Everton and Man United. And Wolves - THAT draw - after wins v Spurs and Newcastle.
We never did it under RDZ despite winning twice in a row 5 times.
I haven’t got to the end of this thread but iirc it was something to do with his academySo Saints manager Russell Martin is a Brightonian as I'm sure most people know. However I'm sure I read on here that he doesn't (or didn't at some point in the past) have a good relationship with the Albion.
Can anyone shed any light on this or is it just bollocks?

Bottom team at home. Could finish the day 2nd in the Premier League.
Fluffing this fixture would be so typical. If we actually win this, it could turn out to be a very special season indeed.
He was on our books as a youth player and released. I suspect it's one of those things that's been blown out of proportion.
I might be getting my dates mixed up, but I seem to recall he was a Peterborough player when we were competing with them in League One and a Norwich player when we were competing with them in the Championship (I definitely remember him scoring against us at least once, but can't recall what division that was in). So there have been a few opportunities for the media to run with the angle "this guy is playing against his hometown club that released him as a youngster and he still hates them for it".
Storm in a teacup as far as I can tell. But I'm happy to be corrected. I can't find much solid info on where this idea has come from either and am having to "read between the lines" to figure it out.
They'll be on their knees dealing with our continual attempts to get in round the back.“No offence Lucy it will be our two up top that everyone’s talking about as your boys take one hellava beating”.
Isn’t that how it used to go?
Football is a simple game when played at this level. All you need to do is pass the ball through the opposition.
My issue is he got resoundingly given a sound send off. I'm sure most people thought he was going off to the retirement villa. Had he mentioned he was already going home to Southampton then I think things would have been done a bit differently. Is Lallana a snake? Have I missed something, or is this another ironic post?
Indeed. With that pass, he took out 5 defenders.I know there's Goal of the Season, but is there an Assist of the Season competition?
We don’t play long balls over the top, we play the occasional direct lofted pass into space behind the full backsIndeed. With that pass, he took out 5 defenders.
And it wasn't a long ball over the top that Mitoma had to chase and predict the bounce. It was along the ground, perfectly weighted.
Do you mean like this?We don’t play long balls over the top, we play the occasional direct lofted pass into space behind the full backs
