Germany under-21 teammate of Brajan Gruda, despite being 23.

Scored a hat-trick against Spain's u-21s earlier this week.

Bild reports that Everton and Brighton are also interested in VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, who is a hot topic at the moment.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Bayern Munich are interested in the 23-year-old, who is having his breakout season at the MHP Arena. However, now Everton and Brighton are also showing an interest in Woltemade, with Brighton the most interested.

Amusing - "f*** off, Tony Bloom! I never want to hear the name Brighton in Stuttgart again! But if he gets a 100 million offer, he's welcome to call..."

Ich habe das komische Gefühl, dass es keinen Anruf geben wird.

Yeah, the replies to this tweet are funny...

I'm assuming the one that translates as "Brighton can pay 80 on principle or fly away directly" is actually a lot ruder in German.

We sold them Undav after months of saying no and rejecting their offers. I think we also had some sort of compensation clause where we could pay them X amount to stop them exercising the buy option. We did that meaning they ended up paying a lot more for him than the original loan deal agreed.

Nah.. we likely f***ed them over a little bit. Or they f***ed themselves over.

From what I've read in German media and from German experts trying to figure out what happened, I don't think Stuttgart took the buy-back clause particularly seriously when the buyout clause was discussed. They probably thought "ok, worst thing that can happen is that we get €4m. or at least nothing, once agent fees etc are paid".

Undav did extremely well, and Stuttgart were very eager to buy him. When he was called up for Germany to the Euros, it meant he was 3-4 tournament goals from being a ~£50m striker. And thats when the alarm bells started ringing around our buyback clause. Brighton and presumably Undav himself wanted to see how the tournament went, and the buyout clause ran out, and the negotiations started from scratch.

Thats my understanding of the situation - we kind of did a job on them...

Not sure they hate Tony Bloom as much as they fear him.

Wonderful stuff, here reminds me of Peter Crouch, lanky, annoying and good with his feet.

I keep seeing his nickname online as "Lord Woltemade" as in Voldemort.

Seeing as we hate Potter so much, this is too perfect.

If we want a German striker who is a former team-mate of Gruda, its Nelson Weiper at Mainz we should be looking at.

Stuttgart fans hate us and love to remind us of it on social media, genuinely hilarious how much the Undav saga pissed them off
