Never mind CBA. I’ll get a drink inside the concourse - it’ll be quicker!
Didn‘t bother with the ’Pleasure Dome’ - fecking useless for people with mobility issues. Long queues. Heaving and disorganised - several people near me trying to get a refund from orders made on the machines because they couldn’t get near the bar to collect their drinks.

Enjoying a quiet a relaxing pre-match time out in my seat instead. 🙂

Downstairs was carnage as expected. They need to sort a queueing system. Pre ordering drinks.ws a waste of time as they only poured them when you finally got the the bar. Think i will go back to my usual routine of drinking in Lewes.

Inside the ground was very easy to get a beer and like warm salmonella pie. Whilst it was bedlam outside

Any pictures of the £13 or £16 Master Chef burgers after they’ve been Sodexo’d?

Food was easy, ready & easy to collect 1-2 mins.

Drinks on the other hand, utter carnage. 1/2 hour Q for 3 drinks. Lagers seemed to have been pre-poured, but cider & IPA was being done on demand making it so slow. I’m sure someone with more knowledge than me can explain why cider & ipa can’t be pre-poured.

Large Q for toilets, apparently 2 cubicles for gents but I departed for WSU at that stage.

Tiny queues, if any, in the concourses, so having the terrace is helping that.
Agree - that was my thinking too - so there was literally one person in the queue in front of me in the WS - never been served so quick.

Will try the Terrace again when the novelty has worn off!

Mine was too cold for salmonella to survive.

Spotted quite a few of those guys with backpacks pouring out beers, with basically no queue for them. So keep an eye out as an easy beer option.

Probably not helped by people working out you could go back to the bar & show the same order & get your drinks again!

Well if the Terrace reduces queues at the concourse bars then it is a success in my book...

Cruzcampo stand disappeared from NS I guess its been moved over there, had to make do with a 2 minute queue for my hot piglets sausage roll and a pint from the no queue self serve dispenser. So Terrace seem to be working well

I went in to have a look. Initial thought was that everything seemed good then I got to the drinks collection point where there was a massive scrum. Utter chaos. I changed my mind about buying a pint so just headed off to the stadium. Not sure why the carnage couldn’t have been anticipated. I’m guessing it’ll eventually become more efficient. The other thing was that it was really blowy. Completely open to the elements. I presume in colder months they will close the sides off otherwise it’s not for me. Would be like sitting in a beer garden in mid winter with the wind howling around you. Might be better upstairs mind.

At least we've had one success today.

Yes that was the main problem. Had a farcical situation when there was a melee of people who ordered on the app crowded in a small area whereas the bar area was relatively empty
