I thought he was doing ok, up until he lost his man for the goal. I also remembered JPVH having a shocker in his first game.

JPVH looked totally out of his depth for his first few games. It took him a few months to grow into the team. I remember away to Leicester the players noticably not passing to him.

Let’s write him off after 15 minutes of football and consign him to the scrap heap. He’s not played in 2 months and he has gone from playing championship to premier league. He’s is going to be needed in the run in.

JPVH had physical attributes which gave him more to work with and develop. Cashin has no pace and looks tiny for a centre half.

The least convincing debut I've seen for a long while.
Pointing out a player has had a bad debut is not the same as “writing him off”
If it is, how long are we allowed to give someone before criticising them? He’s not some 17 year old kid plucked from the U23s, he’s played over 100 games in professional football and we paid decent money for him. He should be capable of better than…whatever that was.
