Many years ago, my daughter won some competition at school for who could remember pi to the most places. I've just texted her :wink:

Any self respecting astrophysicist should make sure their son can recall Pi to over 100 decimals at a minimum.

10. Why I've bothered remembering that I don't know.

I seem to be able to recall loads of other relatively useless numbers and dimensions . . . . Like homologated sizes of engine components for 1960's saloon cars 🤓 and carburettor settings for webers and Dellorto's

She's just texted back. The award (at Stringer a good few years ago) was for just over 100 places. She said somewhere between 10-15 now, which is still 8-9 more than me :down:
