Bugger!

Had a feeling from the first day sales, and the fact that's it's 15 loyalty points, that this wouldn't make purchase history 😟

Oh well, I'm still going up for my 7 nights camping in the heart of the Shropshire hills, just an hours drive from Molineux. I'll have to see what the local radio match coverage is like then I suppose.

Warning, if you do not like the ramblings of an old fool with too much time on his hands stop reading now.

So for the ticket sales of this match i thought out of interest i would do some more counting and recording, the results of which are as follows
Day one club released 2211 tickets there were about 3000 in that window and we finished with 700 left meaning 1511 sold (bar those retained by club for comps)
Day two extra 182 released total 2393 another 3000 in that window and we were left with 514 total sales that day 368
Day three released total still 2393 another 6000 in that window and we were left with 336 total sales that day 178
Day four extra 350 released total 2743 another 12000 in that window (all STH) 225 left sales that day 461
Day five/six/seven continuation of that window over the weekend 115 left sales over those three days 110
Finally day eight (members day not sure how many) extra 266 released total 3009, 6 tickets left for disabled section total sold for the day 375.

I worked out roughly the % of those in each window that bought tickets, day one 50%, day two 12%, day three 3%, day 4/5/6/7(same window all STH) 4.75% caveat here being the unknown amount who could have bought in a higher window but chose to wait, however it gives an indication.

Well i did warn you!

i was born for this sort of post - thanks :) so wonder what percentage will be sold to top bracket for Spurs away ? will be surely close to 75% which would leave around 750 tickets available on day 2

Your 'ramblings' are very much appreciated.

I know there's a few that hope for purchase history windows, and being right at the back of the queue your updates on sales for each game come in really handy.

Keep up the good work! (y)

Old fool here with too much time on my hands that I could read it.
I understand day one 3000 fans given the chance to buy, as everyone in that window is guaranteed a ticket (3000 tickets available) but with only 2211 available surely it would have been 2211 fans given the opportunity. Unless the club already know what percentage buy on day one for a midlands game.
But how do you know the points on day two brings another 3000 into the buy zone?
Day four and all ST holders will be correct.
Sorry if you've wasted 2 minutes reading this.

I would guess Tier 1 was 3,000 people as the club had c3,000 tickets available, they just didn't release all blocks initially.

We know that Tier 1 equals the number of tickets available so everyone in that group can have a ticket if they want one.

Beyond that, this is how it works (this is fact as it came to me from the club):

Window 1 – the allocation (normally around 3k)
Window 2 – 25% of STHs & 1901 (around 6k)
Window 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Window 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)

Everyone received their 20% train discount? It says it can be used for any ticket before May 10th, so I have tried to use it for a trip to London I need to make immediately after the West Ham game (should be a fun trip!)... and inevitably it didn't work

My 20% Trainline discount for West Ham away did in fact work for multiple returns to Manchester.
Unfortunately since then they seem to have tidied up the process and now the discount code only appears to work for stations near to the specific match location. Shame.

It's a shit system isn't it. They should have the vouchers ready to go when they send the tickets. Even then, I booked my tickets a couple of weeks before so it's all a waste of time for me

Agree with this. We wanted to book train straight away to get the best price. Waiting a week or 2 is less than ideal.

I can't be the only person who booked train travel over a week before the tickets were on sale. For the midland/northern teams it's rare they sell out on the higher tiers only.

Yep. We're tier one so we knew we would get tickets... I guess it's good for those who weren't sure they would get tickets until the last moment

As our group all bought train tickets on one transaction we had several codes going spare which were used for various journeys (that met the criteria for using them). Saved a fortune in total

Beam Back at the Terrace. Tickets on sale soon.
This is interesting and I wonder, now they've shown all the away games since its opening, will it effect ticket sales for the games?
If you knew in advance this would be shown, would you still have purchased tickets for the trip?
