We will be there after a couple of drinks in the Pump and Truncheon. My dad, although Sussex born and bred, was a Blackpool fan because of Sir Stanley Matthews. He died in November so this is an emotional journey for us all. I wish Blackpool every success in their battle to save their club...
I went today and I could see the players put a shift in. However, the bottom line is if another manager can get the players better organised and motivated so we can start to win games then Hyypia should go. I think this is the case and the board need to act fast. All the other teams, who are...
Our son was one month old and slept through a 1-0 defeat to Exeter. He then slept through a 1-0 victory at Torquay when Bobby scored a month later. How he didn't wake up with all that noise going on I will never know. He is Albion through and through despite living among Premiership 'fans' in...
On our travels from Somerset both home and away we are always cheered by the sight of an Albion car ( number plate, shirt, car sticker) from far and wide. We are often accosted by fans of other clubs at service stations on our route up north. What are you doing here? etc... Also loved it at...
I got 5 so I am either not stressed or in denial. The questions, however, did not mention supporting BHA - this would have increased my score ten-fold!
What impressed me was the number of little touches, learnt from us and from Cardiff, to make the away fans' experience pleasant. There was a sign welcoming us, highlights of our matches on in the concourse, food sellers with Brighton shirts on, 'mobile' food sellers, friendly stewards etc. I...
I was at the Amex earlier today and I noticed that Gus' poster on the legends wall has been replaced......with a new poster with the dates 2009-2013. Still a legend.
I am gobsmacked. This is such a backwards step. I will never ever ever ever ever forgive him for his behaviour when we played Yeovil. What is going on?
When we went on last season's pre-season tour we stayed in a hotel with a group of Pompey fans who were absolutely brilliant. Any club that suffers relegation will lose fans and we shouldn't kid ourselves that it would be any different if we didn't do well next season. Good luck to them I say...
This is our local and the landlord was a massive WBA fan. The Brighton stuff was ours. We used to hang our scarves up in the bar if Brighton had won a game. The Mildmay has had several different owners since then and sadly Mike, the old landlord, died of cancer last year.
