But he's still very young and is playing in a bit of a backwater.
I'm 50/50 on it. I reckon the original plan would have been to loan, but given his apparently strong showing at the end of this season, we might just be tempted to take a look at him in pre season with a view to giving him a...
He could have had a goal of the season contender with one of his mazy runs last night. Once we get Mitoma fit and playing well, then this should free up even more space for Joao Pedro. And we can keep him in the centre.
He's certainly my player of the season
There's a scenario I was musing about.
So there's a buy option of £10m or something, but Stuttgart apparently don't have it. Undav is worth more than that now. Is there an chance richer a club could lend Stuttgart the money for the buy option, then buy Deniz immediately after for, say £12m...
I'm thinking 3 at the back
--------------Verbruggen
-------Van Hecke -- Dunk -- Igor
Hinshelwood -- New CM-- New CM -- Barco
---------Enciso --------Mitoma
---------------Pedro
With a bench of
Rushworth / Lamptey / Webster / Baleba / New CM / Buonanotte / Adingra / Welbeck / Ferguson

So we re-loan the player we currently own .... the German international .... in favour of a player who is nowhere near as good, can barely get past Lyndon Dykes to get in the Scotland team, who we would have to go and pay a significant transfer fee for?
We have very similar thoughts on the matter.
I personally think we look a 3 at the back squad now. RDZ should take the summer to get his head round it, and go balls on on it in pre season
Barco and Pervis competing for LWB
Solly, Tariq and Hinsh competing for RWB
Veltman, JPVH and Webby...
Generally Webster was excellent with one or two bad moments.
Surely there's not a chance we can find a better 3rd or 4th choice CB than him. If he can somehow go 6 months without a niggle, i'd fancy him to overhaul JPVH in the pecking order.
It's blokes like him we should be offering new...
Some brilliant moments. I thought his shot was his way of saying to the manager, "your no shooting tactics are a load of shit and I'm going to ignore you and do it anyway"
I stood up and applauded him
Question.
Is this the most overwhelmingly negative reaction there has ever been to a Brighton signing / resigning?
Has there been anyone with such a large fan base constituency strongly against bringing in or retaining a player?
Dunk, gross, veltman, webby, solly, welbeck
We have enough mentors in our first team squad without adding players too old and too crocked to contribute on the pitch
There was a certain logic this season. Someone with experience of euro matches, someone who can cover a lot of positions.
What's the logic for next season? Massive injury risk, too immobile to play pretty much anywhere.
He would have to be playing for free to make this a good idea. And he...
