I don’t know about the numbers but having , Doucoure, Olise, Eze, Guehi, Holding, Franca, Johnson out for long periods all at the same time certainly effected our season.

The thing is Palace have not missed him a bit, in fact the 3 at the back have looked great, the fact he started in midfield on Saturday sort of showed that.

If palace keep this team together they will be there or there about. But that’s a big if. I am pretty sure both Liverpool and Man U would have had us as a win to further both the league and European places.

I don’t come on hear to big up palace as you know, but the palace U 21s beat PSV in the premier league international cup last night which looks good for future players. That cup can sit proudly next to the ZDS cup on the second shelf of the trophy cabinet 😉

I think we can agree both teams have been badly effected by injuries but I think most middling to lower teams with smaller squads suffer the same problem.

Stopping every 10 minutes waiting to find a toenail over a line so they can disallow goals can’t help ?

This season we got decimated by injuries. Three or four other clubs suffered as badly as we did, Palace weren't one of them. Really !! Apart from Olise, Eze, Lerma, Doucoure, Guehi, Johnson all being out for large parts of the season, not including a few players we hoped would push on this...

Think the Bayern interest has come a bit too late but never say never. Compensation will be a turn off for Bayern but I’ve never understood the logic that a player can be signed for £30m and waste away on the bench yet a manager is deemed expensive if the compensation is over £10m. The Potter...

Well palace have injuries as well. And were struggling with form as well. 1st choice keeper. Johnson 1st choice centre back. Guehi Both 1st choice midfielders, Lerma and Doucoure Obviously losing Deocoure ment we signed Wharton who has turned out a proper star

I think it depends on the person you are, building something from scratch by given what you have and making it a success must give you more satisfaction than being given a failing team and spending millions on it…maybe ?
