Apart from Diego Gomez (MF) who we have already signed, who else might be incoming/do we need?

Some names that have been linked but …?
Michael Kayode - RB (Brentford?)
Morten Frendup - DM (off?)
Fikayo Tomori - CB
Corentin Tolisso - MF
Franjo Ivanovic -CF
Oliver Boscalgi - CB/LB

Players leaving/coming loan?
Moder
Barco - Seville->FC Porto
Arnau Tenas? - GK

Ferguson - loan?(permanent move seems possible if price is ‘right’)
Buonanotte - rumours

Just to add on that note re rumoured interests in CBs - FH reported by AN back in October to say we don’t need strengthening in our central defence so some of those names we can probably ignore from the get go.

Feel free to add (or remove!) any as we progress btw.

I know there’s been separate threads for some of these but I thought it helpful to keep all the 2025 January transfer window updates on one thread.

(The ’who is leaving in January’ thread didn’t strike me as very serious one but we can just use this for potential moves if it is preferred)

Mods feel free to merge with the 2015 thread if people don’t want a new 2025 January transfer thread - didn’t realise someone had bumped an old one!

Of course, had we offered him one which he was considering signing we wouldn't have announced it in the Argus.

As with all these matters, we know less than we think we do

Obviously - So ru ITK because I assumed he is out of contract in the summer and contract is still running down until he does - which makes him likely for a transfer (or new contract) this window - hence including him here?

“It’s very important that we keep it internal, that we don’t talk too much about the situation in public. Then, when we’ve made a decision, I am sure we will let you know.”

Those comments from Hurz doesn't add up with the headline of the article.
Wrong was link posted.

As @Nobby Cybergoat says - it’s not going to be published in the media if we have offered him a new contract until he signs one.

Yup, makes no sense with Wood being in the form of his career, Forest being a rival and us being short up front etc etc.

But the source - midlands football reporter from the Telegraph seems legit, and combine that Fab's comments (“...it is very important that the player knows our idea, that we know the idea from the player. And then it is most important to be honest to each other, to find the right solution for the club and also for the player") and the absence from the squad - is he really injured? It's all v strange.

I’d be amazed if Ferguson goes anywhere - Welbeck’s current injury is obviously significant, and even when he’s back he’ll likely be injured again. Then what if Pedro gets injured?? Quite a risk.
Unless TB is thinking a striker that is actually scoring goals ( at European level too) is a safer option than refusing to sell Ferguson for a silly wad of money if Welbeck and Pedro have injury issues? If Ferguson wants gone - it will be difficult to keep him.

Just rumours but having a very good season at USG

He doesn’t look quick enough to be a Premier League striker.
