Can anyone recommend the best place to park for visiting the Brighton Centre midweek after 6pm without paying over the odds and not too far walking distance?

Many thanks

If ur arriving at 6 just do on street parking in side street as u only have to pay to 7pm ish in most so lot cheaper than multiple story car park

You can park for free outside Brighton town hall after six.

I had an event to attend and paid £1.70 from 5.30. Much cheaper than the various NCPs.

Getting a taxi and going via Outer Mongolia is cheaper than a lot of NCP's in town.

Whatever you decide, do not risk any yellow line thinking its ok after six. It is not. Went to a band on a Sunday night and wardens swarming the area and ticketing unsuspecting drivers such as myself. They were still out gone ten.

Had a ticket issued to me down little Preston Street that issued at 23.10.
Led to believe they work until midnight.

I parked in a loading bay outside dome around eight at night once. Got a ticket. Appealed against it which was rejected and fine was doubled as a result. Eventually got away with it as said I was unloading. Laughable.

The car park behind it is cheap all the time, up between Grand & Metropole £2.20 for 2 hours daytime midweek

Single yellows outside of City College if you arrive literally on six but they fill up very quickly, I'd aim for 5.55pm.

Park in the Lanes car park (under Bartholomew Square) and it is only about £4 for the evening. Only a few minutes walk from the centre but usually quick to get out of as most people going to the centre park in the multi-storeys right next door.

Churchill Square car park is the probably one of the cheapest NCP's in that area i.e. the one that rips you off the least
