You know that pub game.

I read somewhere that darts is Sky's second most televised sport, is one of the biggest participation sports in the country, is actually a sport now, and can make some of the players extremely rich.

I was just wondering how many of you actually either play or watch the sport, or even know anything about it.

I watched some on telly by chance and saw a man called The Wolf or something cos he had grey hair. I was more interested in laughing at their ropey old wives in the Audience.

Is it as big as Sky are making out then?

I mean, their second sport to football in terms of televised events.

I'd have thought golf or tennis, or rugby league or several other sports would have beaten it.

Just had a look on the net, and there;s quite a bit about the sport, but nothing that looks THAT big.

WSU, just below the seagull.
Sky have got all the best players on board, there are players coming across from the rival BDO organisation for that reason.

Sky have about 6 or seven Major touraments a year, plus the Premier League which runs for about 3 months. The BDO (BBC broadcast) i think have just 2 tournaments a year shown.

And the wedge is a great deal more with the Sky tournaments.

I have a look now and again. Planky doesn't have much to do with it now though (i think), i know Andy Mac does most of the stuff on there now.

John is a good player, i have beaten him once out of about 3 or 4 games, i just don't practice enough now.
