Did any see the Dispatches Program about drugs in football?

My fiancee pointed out to me last night when Steven Gerrard came on as a sub about him being out for 6 moths and did i reckon its from failing a drugs test.

I remembered back to that program and they said players were getting band for not passing a drugs test and saying they were injured.

Well last night a scouse lad claiming to be gerrards mate and when we asked prove it he got out pics of him and gerrard on his phone, before you say it they werent your average fan pictures anyway the said fella asked where was good to out in brighton and whether you can get some good tickets....... read into this what you like

I said this last week when the programme was on, funny how Gerrard was out for exactly 6 months from some groin complaint. The Premier League would hardly want one of it's bigger players shamed by the news.

I'm in the front row of the WSL & found it proper cringeworthy, I can understand kids wanting his autograph, thats understandable but their were grown men crawling along by the front wall with pens & paper just waiting to be noticed..... Some shouting "stevie" ....... Clap him if you want but crawling about is just f***ing embarrassing

At least one of the grown men was getting the autograph for his two young boys.
