Ahhh, Rottingdean pitch & putt. Scene of my hole in one.
I really must tell you about it some time.

I for one would like to hear more of Easy's achievement.

I managed to get a hole-in-one at Littlehampton seafront crazy golf a few years back. I couldn't hide my elation, until my brother did exactly the same thing :(

How are you travelling?

The BEST way is to walk the Undercliff from Brighton and catch an open top bus back. Not that open top buses will be running this coming weekend, of course.

If you are walking from Saltdean, watch out for former Lib Dem councillor and anti-stadium campaigner, David Neighbour. He has been known to attack innocent passers by.

Many years ago, after taking refreshment in a nearby pub, I ventured into the sauna in Rottingdean, above the steps to the undercliff walk, with my, then, girlfriend. We didn't realise that it was a "Gentlemans" establishment, although she did remark that she could only see mens shoes in the rack behind reception (for some reason you had to remove your shoes and leave them at reception). We then proceeded to enter the sauna only to find my GF was the only female present amongst a troop of suspect looking chaps, some with give away handlebar moustaches. She realised that she had nothing to fear and dropped her towell with "gay" abandon, whilst I, feeling threatened and a little sheepish sat with my hands on my lap. One of the buggers even followed us from the sauna through the splash pool and into the rest rooms where he proceeded to knock one out in the adjacent cubicle.

Moral - When visiting Rottingdean avoid the sauna at all costs

Rottingdean has a brilliant Women's football team by the way. They been about for 5 years and won 2 leagues and 1 cup competition.
