ipod/itunes help needed

Morning can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to download previously purchased songs back to a ipod.Basically my daughter somehow wiped all her songs off her one yesterday and is now driving me mad to get them back if thats possible?

Have you tried to manually sinc it with your purchased tunes...(there shud be a seperate playlist which just shows her purchased music)
