After Ipswich’s shock winner last night, and the fact they play Wolves at the weekend, another win and they could only be 6 points apart.

Ipswich have got:
Wolves, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton, Brentford, Leicester, West Ham

Wolves have got:
Ipswich, Spurs, Man United, Leicester,
Man City, Brighton, Palace, Brentford

I can’t see Leicester making a late bid so I haven’t included them.

Apparently Man United are in talks about signing Delap, but City are interested in having him back too. Future England goal scorer in the making?

Didn’t Leicester go on an incredible run to avoid relegation the year before they won the title? Not suggesting that anyone will repeat it this year, but it’s possible.

They had only won 4 times all season, until their final 8 games where they picked up 19/24 points. So yes.

No. Wolves are ok (improved a lot in the last few months) and will stay up comfortably. None of the teams in the bottom have the quality to go on some sort of run where they pick up points left right and centre.

Ipswich's only hope is Man City points decuction.

My guess is the premier league are waiting to see exactly how many points the penalty needs to be to ensure City don't get relegated.

Yes, City's points deduction is the only thing that means a relegation battle is on.
It may well be bottom 2 plus City to go down.

It might have Wolves looking slightly nervously over their shoulder, but ultimately? No.

If nothing else, Wolves have to play us, and we are renowned for our charitable work giving points to teams in need.

They have nothing to hope for because if Man City get relegated by the commission, they will appeal and it will take another year before anything really happens. Don't think the Premier League is to keen on saving the Man City arses, but others with interests in the league may be.

Leicester will be pleased about that!

I will not be at all surprised if they win at the Amex either should we lose badly at Palace
