Ref didn't even consider this worthy a red card despite being in a good position.

Also wrote in his report that Mbappe was competing for the ball so it's expected to be a one match suspension although not officially confirmed yet AFAIK.

And then ofc RMTV (Real Madrid TV) were complaining how the refs decisions were going against them. Nothing new though, they are crying every week.

Meanwhile Lewa was given a 3-match ban for poking his nose two years ago. Welcome to Loliga.

Whether it's different in La Liga i'm not sure, but here a one game ban is just for two yellows. Violent conduct is at least 3.

It's clear violent conduct, so red and the standard ban, but not anything worse
Wouldn’t be violent conduct (which is reserved for things like headbutts, punches, kicks off the ball etc) - this is Serious Foul Play.

The other player is just very lucky his leg wasn’t planted as that would’ve been a very bad break and probably career ending.

Really nasty foul.

Such an overrated player, Neymar 2, and a vicious basterd aswell, it seems. Should get a longer ban than the standard. But won't, of course.
He won the Ligue 1 golden boot award 6 seasons running, starting with the season he turned 20.

At 26 he's already 3rd in France's all-time top goalscorers, with a goals-per-game similar to Michel Platini and JP Papin.

He's admittedly not done so well this season in a misfiring Real Madrid team, but "not done so well" is still 32 goals in 48 games (132 minutes per goal) so far, almost identical stats to Mo Salah (who as a winger / wide forward is very comparable) and very similar to Haaland.

I agree he should be banned for more than one match for that challenge.

Oh, I didn't base my opinion on FACTS mate! Too hot and cold, and you bet he'd be anonymous on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke.

It reminds me of Sheffield United when they tried to end Mitoma’s career. Dirty thugs.
