With 5 games still left to play and us only being 1 point off of European football again next season, do we have the mental focus to get ourselves up for this final few games or are the boys already in too much of a slump to push on?
With so much still to play for, the next result could define our season and possibly Fabs future.

Not sure I want European football next season. The Thursday games put enormous pressure on the club's resources. Do we have a big enough, good enough squad?I'm not at all convinced that we're ready for it.

With some good lads due back from loan, a few of the key injuries clearing up and a few decent acquisitions at the back, I genuinely think we will be well placed to have a go at Europe again.
This current slump needs addressing though first, although I have voted positively in the poll. I’m trying to keep the faith 🙂

You would hope that they would get enough of a kick up the backside from the likes of Milner and Welbeck (not sure FH has sufficient oomph to do that) to try and make the end of the season more positive. I do worry that IF we managed to scrape into Europe, we'll be exposed tactically, as we've been this season. Fabian needs to bolster his range of game plans to cope with the periods of injuries to key players, for instance.

And there lays a potentially massive issue… If most people also think FH doesn’t have the oomph to give the squad a kick up the backside when needed, what do the players think?
My hope is that the squad is still motivated enough within, given we still have all to play for.

I'd be hard pressed to think of many times he seemed particularly angry - a pissed off manager when the situation deserved it, is surely better than "trust the process" to eventually work out...

Easier said than done, but need to.mentally regroup, draw a line in the sand, and look at the last 5 games as a mini season

And whatever was said after the Forest game, say it again but louder.

It's not too late, in the mix still.

That's why I'd prefer the conference, TBH. More our level at the moment.
