Barber needs to leave. All he cares about is the money and not the real supporters of the club. Fans banned for nothing, can’t celebrate at away games, names on away tickets, safe standing only at the back of the north stand and the atmosphere has never been this bad but he doesn’t care as long as the ground is filled with tourists not real fans.

Paul Barber will leave either when when he wants to, or Tony Bloom thinks he is no longer doing what HE wants him to do. If you don't like Barber's decisions then your problem is with Tony Bloom, not Paul Barber.

Some fans may feel harshly treated, regarding individual disciplinary cases. Post the details if you're looking for empathy and perhaps plenty will take your side. But no fans have been banned for 'nothing'. Not one.

The ban on celebrating at away games must be new, as not something I have come across. I've not been to an away game since Southampton though, so must be a very new rule.

Names on away tickets is a problem only for people who have changed their name since buying them. Unless you are upset you can't buy them for ineligible mates, or are a tout.

(Official) safe standing is being introduced to 'most' rows of the North Stand very soon, as you know.

Other than that - really excellent first post. Welcome to NSC.

What, really? You get arrested and thrown in jail? For celebrating at away games?
Yeah. These days, if you celebrate at away games you’ll be thrown in jail.

Says someone who has just joined and posted on NSC - this is their debut on here

I'm looking forward to the back story that prompted this fan to register and post this on NSC.

No home-made sandwiches allowed at away games...
No snack bars at half time (Cadbury's crunch, Penguins and the like... especially not Penguins – wrong f**king bird for starters).
No mobile phones or talking during the 'performance'.
