[Help] Plumber - Peacehaven area

Sorry to be so dull, but I need a plumber to sort out my pipes..Ooh Matron! I noticed a small amout of water dripping down the wall of our downstairs loo. I removed a small access panel in the ceiling and saw some water drops that look to be coming from copper pipework that feeds either the main bathroom ( directly above the downstairs loo ) or the whole maisonette? I don't think it's an emergency ( famous last words ) but would like it sorted. Cheers.

Btw, when watching a horror movie and a potential victim opens door to see if the coast is clear, and it isn't. This was me when peeking inside the inspection hole, water dripping not only down the wall, but near electrical cables and a possible electrical junction box 🫣, but also the underside of a tile from the upstairs bathroom! I wasn't expecting that.

As an aside, to any plumbers, especially ones who favour Brighton - what causes joints to go all green and leak?

Not soldered properly when fitted but the joint can still hold for years, the green can be scale where the joint slightly leaks.
Also soldered joints can be green without leaking if excess flux isn’t cleaned off after soldering

If it’s caused damage to the property and difficult to get at, refer to your buildings insurance. You may be covered for Trace & access which will reimburse any costs you lay out. They won’t cover the actual repair costs, but will cover the trace, access and any reinstatement.
