"We’ve done all we can to minimise the impact with a rise of approximately 5%. This equates to between £1-£2 per game in most areas of the Amex which we believe offers great value for money."

I’m zone A so another £10 to £610 or £32.10 a game. Never great when ticket prices go up but not bad value for a premier league team.
Never realised that 47% are concession tickets 🤷‍♂️ in my area.

Still some very decent STH prices there in my opinion. £610 for an adult compared to other clubs is great.
Shows the difference between north and south. Burnley's most expensive tickets are £525, cheapest £352. (Under 21's get pensioners rates, about a third off, to ease the transition from child to adult.)

Mind you, you get to see goals at Brighton!

The £1,000 barrier broken for the first time, outside of the 1901 Club. with the 7.25% applied to Zone E.

Could be worse, but certainly encourages using the Ticket Exchange if you can't make a game.

important that you also read the important changes, as 75% use of ST required (this does include using Ticket Exchange) and pension age increased to 66.

I’m going to get pelters for this, but oh well.

I think Premier League football represents excellent value for money, especially our prices compared to the likes of Arsenal.

Theatre is my other love, another expensive hobby, and you’re hard pressed to get a reasonable seat for entertainment of an equivalent length and like-for-like in terms of quality. Plus travel on top for the West End.

£700 / 19 matches is around £36.80 per game, travel included.

Seeing a West End show 19 times a year at an average ticket price of £70 (but good seats can easily run to £150) would cost around £1,330, plus travel from Brighton at around £30 return (£570) for a total of £1,900.

I realise football was the “working man’s game”, but those days are long gone.

I’m happy with those prices - just don’t tell Barber.

Oh and additional to the above, a season ticket to mid table League Two MK Dons will run you over £600 next season. A season ticket at National League Aldershot is over £300. Plus you’d have to go to Aldershot every week.

I agree. I don't think it's bad value at all, as long as you are in a position to purchase a season ticket.

I think away games are good value too. For the Arsenal game in March I took my wife and both kids, and paid less than £85 for all four tickets. That's astonishingly good value, in my opinion, when compared to other comparable forms of entertainment. Going f***ing ten pin bowling costs £60 for us!

Even PAYG you can get a great seat for £38 (£28 for oldies) - oh and if you have kids you get a huge discount unlike theatre, where you pay the same price for a 5 year old as you do for a 30 year old.
