Trump calling for executions, and yet it's the Democrat's "violent rhetoric" that is the problem

That’s presented completely out of context. He saying it’s easy to support war when you never have to be in the firing line. For all Trumps faults he is the candidate that is calling for the need to end armed conflict, and his record bears that out compared to the democrats.

Well, exactly. Self indulgent idiots insisting on perfection empower monsters

I find it odd that people think betting (which Republicans are being pushed to do massively, for obvious reasons) is a better indicator of what’s happening than actual factual turnout and voting patterns (ie what’s actually happening!)
When I looked at Betfair yesterday there was a huge amount of money laid against Trump, presumably unmatched as there was only a very small amount bet on Trump. For me, that's an indicator that Trump's odds are way too short.

Its an exceptionally poor analogy then if thats what you are saying it is. He has no concept of what is appropriate. His giving a microphone a blow job the other day under the guise of testing it, was another example...

If people want that for a president and have the ability to excuse it, then the US is in a far worse state than even I thought...

It is frustrating because people are claiming to be able to call this election when every political analyst and MSM can not.

You completely ignored the fact that Arizona has a high voter turnout of male republicans cf to female turnout - you are only hearing and seeing what you WANT to hear like a proverbial echo chamber validating your guess work.

Feel free to guess who you like if it makes you happy - I prefer to deal with facts- and the facts are as I have repeatedly said, the election is too close to speculate on a winner with any degree of accuracy polling in ALL key swing are within the margin of error and it’s bollox to say otherwise without proof.

I hope you have fun when Harris wins in saying ‘I told you so’ because you will probably be right 😂
In my opinion Harris will win comfortably, with possibly as many as 300 EC votes.

Yes - but that might be relatively entertaining, as we can relax in the knowledge that he has lost - and watch with relative calmness.

A bit like not worrying about the other team attacking when you're two goals up with a couple of minutes left, you know it's in the bag and nothing much can happen.

oh.
But you have to factor in the Supreme Court and the House Speaker. Working in tandem it's not impossible that a Harris win could be overturned.

Thanks. I'll try and forget about it and see what it looks like at 7am.

I feel for Ukrainians, they'll have to stay up all night.
I doubt there’ll be many comfortable sleeps going on in the Baltics or Georgia either

CONTEXT

Actually , he was talking about Liz Cheney’s stance on the Iraq war - she supported her father’s arguments for the war in Iraq which started in 2003 but Trump did not oppose the Iraq war - in fact as far back as 2002, he had expressed his lukewarm support for it - it wasn’t until after it had become widely unpopular with the electorate in 2004 that he came out against it . He has repeated the lie time and time again since that he had been against going into war with Iraq. He had not.

Trump hates Cheney

Cheney, one of 9 Republicans who did so, voted to impeach Trump’s in his second impeachment on the Jan 6 storming of the Capitol for his role in inciting the attack. Cheney said that Trump "lit the flame" of the riot and did nothing to stop it. Saying, "there has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath", calling his acts ’heinous’.

”Cheney raised the possibility of a criminal investigation of Trump for provoking violence and said he "does not have a role as a leader of our party going forward". In April 2021, she said she would not vote for him if he were the Republican nominee for president in 2024. In May 2021, she said: "I will do everything I can to ensure that [Trump] never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office" and "we cannot let the former president drag us backward and make us complicit in his efforts to unravel our democracy." (Wikipedia.)

Don’t think for one minute his comments were a good faith stance on being anti-war - it was a self-preserving, venomous and irresponsible dig at a woman that he is and has been for years, at war with.

Liz Cheney may be a war hawk but she is a hawk that recognises the real danger of Trump being elected to a second term is a threat to the Constitution and to democracy - she has said so publicly and Trump hates that.

As for Trump being anti-war that’s simply not born out by his bellicosity toward Iran and a Trump administration is very likely to support Israel‘s desire to take out Iran’s nuclear sites

Context.

What's you problem? If someone else posts something that doesn't stop your 'voice'.

Perhaps you have nothing to say
Perhaps you're right. Perhaps I like sitting on the beach and staring into space.

Sometimes, I enjoy not having anything to say....

But I agree with your point 'If someone else posts something that doesn't stop your 'voice'. Or rather, that should be the ideal.

In practice, we do occasionally have someone who posts something designed to stop the voices of others. On here, that's the job of the moderators alone, who have a great responsibility, and exercise it with restraint.

But this is a good forum. Sometimes, it self-regulates. Sometimes, someone else might write something that has the necessary effect, thus removing the necessity for the moderators to get involved.

People have a voice. Let them use it.

(But if they don't want to use it, that's OK as well).
