Which of these is the best place to go on holiday for a group of lads!?

Currently in a dispute over where to go on holiday! The dispute involves 3 locations: Zante; Magaluf or Kavos. I want to go to Magaluf but a couple are not sure due to it being a sausage fest - which I quite doubt!

Never been myself but friends have said Zante is good place for an 18-30 type holiday

All places you have suggested are wank. Ruined by rowdy Irish and Northerners. The only party destination worth going is Ibiza and even then I would say stay in Ibiza town not San Antonio.

Then again, if you fall into the cretinous plimsole and vest wearing category you will probably love any of the above.

Been to Magaluf twice when i was 18 and 19. It's alright i enjoyed it but unless you are basically a bit of a nobhead you won't really love it. If you and your mates are the sort of lads with loads of front great a chatting up and pulling birds then it's great. If your not really like that at home though you'll struggle as there is a lot of competiton. Go for somewhere off the beaten track a bit. one year my mates and i went to St Julians/Paceville, Malta in August, loads of group of English girls and not the right loud tarty type had a great time. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is pretty good to.

Rhodes is very nice, but don't be tempted to go to Faliraki, it's not the partying place it used to be.

Chania in Crete apparently has a great nightlife, but being an 11 year old when we went, I didn't get a chance to sample it!

All much of a muchness. You've got to be careful with the greek islands these days as the authorities have cracked down since their early 2000s heyday. I went to Kavos in 2000 and 2006. It was far far busier in 2000, the reps we spoke to said malia was the place to be that year, think it can be luck of the draw.

I'd probably add Malia and Ayia Nappa to that shortlist. No point in doing Ibiza unless you're interested in the clubs.

Went to Zante once. Was f***ing quality! Never drunk the same since. Holiday ruined my insides. 7 days of roughly 70% booze, 20% water and 10% pizza and other 'shit' foods!

That is not what I meant. My point was if you will insist on heading for one of the European party places the best one is by far and away Ibiza. That is my opinion obviously, but having done pretty much all these places I've found the others all to be a poor man's Ibiza.

Have got it out of my system now though I have washed my hands with so called 'lads holidays.' I go on holiday to relax, whenever I came back from one of the party islands I was more stressed and physically unhealthy than I even thought capable. Strictly sun, books and maybe the odd half of lager before bedtime for me now when I'm on holiday.

i dont want to be blamed for sending a load of spotty 17 year old chavs to Ibiza but that pissess all over places mentioned.

if i had to choose from those i'd probably say Magaluf. as someone said Greek islands really clamp down and theres is literally nothing to do apart from the obvious. At least magaluf has some big clubs and theres a few more southerners dotted about.

Kavos is full of 16 to 19 year old Brits, whizzing round on mopeds.
If you are late 20's, the rest of the population will seem very childish.
Kavos is not a typical Greek island resort by any means.
