We all know why women can never compete with men in physical, contact sports like football etc. That's easily explained by the fact they're not as strong, fast etc but why can't women beat men at other, celebral or non physical sports? I just don't get it. I'm thinking chess; I'm thinking snooker, I'm thinking darts etc. Hardly need to be physically on top of the game to putt a snooker ball or two or to take a bishop on the chess board do you?
So why can't they do it as good as men?
I know there's bound to be an old feminist argument about women only recently being "allowed"in these hietherto male worlds but I just don't think that washes anymore. Perhaps it all comes down to the idea that men are just much more competitive and " anal" about winning?
Yes, there are some great female sporting achievements but they will never match those of men; will they?
