I must be a western fan because there's not a film mentioned here I haven't seen.

In the not a western but western feeling category Justified was an excellent series.

Brighton factually.....
Just watched Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1
Oh boy that was so good, as a small boy I was fascinated by Apaches, along with other native American tribes and their persecution, which even at a young age I knew was wrong.
Visiting family (wifes side obviously) in Arizona on quite a few occasions now, I have luckily visited most of the places depicted in the movie based in Arizona, New Mexico and parts of Utah and have been on hikes seeing indigenous petroglyphs carved in the cliffs along valleys and streams. A boyhood dream came true and the landscape is truly breath taking, it is not often I am left speechless and left to reflect on the way they and other indigenous people were treated.

There is a part in the movie were An officer explains the expansion to a fellow officer which nails the hard cold facts.

Really looking forward to Chapter 2

I enjoyed this second viewing. Was a bit lost on first watch.

I do enjoy a Costner film too. He’s got a passion for the Western.
