All in the tome though isn't it, which you can't really get from teh writted word all that well. I didn't see anywhere that he refused to sit down, just took exception to the way he was spoken to.
Not saying he's right, or wrong, just trying to offer another slant on the much raked over story...
That kind of fits with what I've been told about Leon from someone who has known him since he was a young lad. I was told that basically Leon doesn't always settle in a dressing room because his father brought him up to be respectful, and expects others to respect him, which is surely a GOOD...
He clearly does know what he's talking about regarding Leon.
I know it bucks the trend on NSC a bit, but personally I find it quite refreshing to have someone posting when they know what they are talking about, rather than just claiming to have a "source".
I assume he could as he got games in Scotland last season, and he did have a deal in Ireland lined up at one point before the planned move in England, which obviously fell through due to Rushden.
Lee Trundle at Neath?! How old is he? Surely he could be plying his trade at a higher level than...
:lolol:
I often hear stories like this about young footballers, and just try to imagine how I'd have behaved with talent, fame and fortune at a young age. Blimey, considering how self-assured and arrogant I was as a young man anyway, without any of those things, I can only assume I would have...
So, does this mean we can all expect a thread firing up sometime soon, along the lines of .....
"colin kazim-richards here im talked about too much on this site time to defend myself"
I'm guessing Leon signed up yesterday with the express intention of doing this thread. So, is CKR just...
The story I heard was that the verbals that McGhee had been dishing out to Leon, transferred to CKR once Leon was gone. MM perceived them as being in the same cliche.
As I posted a couple of months before he left (and was duly slated on here of course, which questions of "source") CKR didn't...
Well good on you for coming on here and fronting up, Leon.
Any chance of a comment on my post (page 18). I was fascinated when I heard that, as it did put a different slant on what I'd heard elsewhere about perceived divids in the dressing room. PM if you'd rather.
My rationale is simple, and therefore probably not as convincing as Bozza's.
1. As Easy points out, he's not given anything vaguely sensational. For a well played out hoax, he's not having much FUN with it is he!
2. A couple of years ago I did "contact" Leon (again, could have been a hoax)...
Leon,
A story I heard from someone who I believe knows you and your dad, told me that there have been times when you've found the dressing room uncomfortable. You've been brought up a certain way, respecting people, respecting women, and expecting to be spoken to in a certain way. The banter...
